time flies so damn fast. 
let me stop for awhile. to close my eyes. and breathe. and smile. and be thankful.
so far, 2012 has been so amazing.

a friend posted a so-called status that somehow got me to think...
"people would always factor in marriage and having kids as achievements in life. and those who have not married are perceived as being left behind and seemingly not accomplished enough in life".

ah. the stereotyping in society for those who have married (and have kids) and those who have not. is that fair? of course not.

stuck in traffic sucks big time, but thank God i have my gopro with me :D

had lotsa things happen in my mind, and at some point having a getaway seemed to be a perfect plan. no, not to run from the reality, but to look deep within myself. 
to have a self-reflection. to think. to know where i stand and where i'm going. to be grateful for everything that has happened in life, good or bad, happy or sad, so i could grow and become a better person because of it all.

this year, i had the chance to go on a (birthday) getaway with three dear friends, and one of them happen to share this birthday getaway with me. 
knowing there's a friend who has birthday two days after mine and also happen to be a great traveling buddy, is just perfect.

it was a great trip. great time. with great and wonderful friends. 
so i want to dedicate this post to NC, FY and MA.. i just can't thank you guys enough for sharing this short yet memorable adventure with me. the memories will stay.
it was an awesome (birthday) getaway indeed. i hope you guys had a blast, as much as i had.
